The drama surrounding Bigg Boss 19 refuses to die down even weeks after the show ended. Actress Kunika Sadanand, who shared a close bond with Tanya Mittal during the initial weeks of the reality show, has now found herself at the center of a fresh social media controversy. During their time inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, Kunika Sadanand and Tanya Mittal were often seen supporting each other.
However, cracks reportedly appeared in their friendship during the final few weeks of the show. After the season wrapped up, Tanya chose to cut off all contact with her fellow housemates, alleging that she was repeatedly targeted, mocked, and mentally harassed inside the house. While Kunika attempted to keep the friendship intact outside the show, things clearly did not work out between the two.
On February 9 at around 10:26 pm, Kunika Sadanand retweeted a post from her X handle, which was later deleted. The retweet quickly caught attention online. In the now-deleted tweet, Kunika reportedly wrote, “It’s nice to see sanskari Tanya. Tanya Mittal is happy to see these cultured people in her troll army. Jai Shri Ram.” The tweet sparked backlash from Tanya Mittal’s fans, who accused Kunika of deliberately sharing anti-Tanya content while playing the victim card.
One social media user replied to Kunika, questioning her intentions and accusing her of repeatedly going against Tanya despite claiming mutual respect. The user also warned her against retweeting posts critical of Tanya. This led to a fiery response from Kunika Sadanand, who did not hold back. She reportedly wrote, “Don’t be disrespectful to me. I’m not afraid of scoundrels. I’m a lioness, understand? A pack of jackals.”
Kunika further alleged that Tanya had spoken against her in multiple interviews, while she herself refrained from making derogatory remarks publicly. She also questioned Tanya’s claims of being scared and helpless inside the Bigg Boss house, stating that participation in the show comes with full awareness of its nature. The actress added that Tanya played several mind games during the show and often spoke about her behind her back with other contestants, including Farhana, Zeeshan, Neelam, and Amaal.
