While navigating turmoil in her personal life, Celina has also been tirelessly advocating for the safe return of her elder brother, Major Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, who has been detained in the UAE for nearly 14 months.

Recently, Celina filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, seeking official intervention for her brother’s case. She also shared an emotional post on Instagram, explaining her family’s distress and urging authorities to ensure the safety of Indian soldiers and veterans abroad. According to the reports, Major Jaitly was associated with the MATITI Group, a consultancy, trading, and risk management company. Celina has alleged that her family has received no clear information from the Ministry of External Affairs regarding his legal status, charges, or well-being since his alleged detention in September 2024.
