Tamil cinema star Jayam Ravi (Ravi Mohan) has been at the center of a personal controversy since his separation from wife Aarti Ravi in September 2024. Now, his rumored girlfriend, singer Kenisha Francis, has publicly responded to the backlash she’s been receiving online, including accusations of being responsible for the breakdown of Ravi’s marriage.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kenisha posted multiple screenshots showing hateful and threatening messages she has received from social media users. Some of these included death threats and obscene language. She wrote, “If we’re so wrong, why not burn us alive then?” expressing her frustration at the hostility.

Refusing to back down or disable her comment section, she stated, “I’m not hiding or turning off comments. I have nothing to conceal.” She continued by addressing her critics directly: “You have every right to question me, but do it to my face. I’m ready to speak publicly and share my side of the story—how one person’s lie became your collective truth. If you really think I’m guilty of something, then take me to court. I beg you—do it properly, legally!”

Kenisha also expressed the emotional toll the constant hate has taken on her:
“Have any of you considered the pain I’m enduring because of your curses and abuse? You speak of karma to hurt me, but when the truth is revealed through legal means, I won’t wish the same agony upon you. I know many of you don’t know the reality, and it’s easier to hurl judgments. I’m sorry your thoughts are causing you such distress.”
She concluded her message with a heartfelt plea:
“I pray that the truth comes to light soon. If I’m wrong, I will accept the consequences under the law. Until then, can I be allowed to breathe without hate?”
